INITIAL CERTIFICATION training is available through individual services or several training institutions. A list and searchable database of all training currently planned is available at the state website. RECERTIFICATION as an EMT requires several steps including an application form, Continuing Medical Education (CME - see below), the written exam, and possibly a practical exam form. You may schedule a written exam by calling the Southern Region office. We'll also help you locate a practical exam site if one is required. |
