IMPORTANT NEWS ALERT

NREMT Test Changes For 2007

The National Registry is switching to computer-based testing on January 1, 2007.  After December 31st, applicants will no longer be able to register to take a pen-and-pencil test for registration with NREMT.  This change applies to all levels of registration, first responder through EMT-Paramedic.  There are a limited number of fixed locations in Alaska where an applicant can take the computer-based test.  For the most current information, please refer to the NREMT website at http://www.nremt.org/about/CBT_Home.asp.  For up-to-date information on test center locations, applicants should visit the Pearson Vue website at http://www.vue.com/. At SREMSC, please contact the Training Coordinator, Kathy McLeron at 562-6449 or contact her at kmcleron@sremsc.org for any questions.
