ITLS Alaska (aka BTLS) International Trauma Life Support |

Basic Trauma Life Support Courses are designed to provide trauma education to EMS personnel. The courses build on what the responder learned in their certification process and subsequent experience plus focus on teamwork to achieve the goals for patient care and incident scene time.
Coordinators for the Alaska Chapter of ITLS International are Chuck Kuhns and Wilma Vinton. Coordinators direct the day-to-day activities of the Chapter, assist organizations to arrange courses in their area, maintain a library of BTLS books and other merchandize and provide quality assurance to the programs being taught within Alaska.
