EMS Week Scheduled for May 18-24; EMSC Day Set for May 21 The American College of Emergency Physicians has announced the dates for this year’s EMS Week as May 18-24, 2008. Wednesday, May 21, 2008, has been identified as EMS for Children Day. The slogan for the 2008 celebration is “EMS: Your Life is Our Mission.” EMS Week/EMSC Day brings together local communities and medical personnel to publicize safety and honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine's "front line." One EMS Week Planning Guide/Kit can be ordered free on-line at http://www.acep.org/emsweek and up to nine Planning Guides/Kits are available free-of-charge via the 2008 EMS Week order form available for download at the same location.
